Carnivorous Plants |

I'm sorry, but this page really lacks of delicious meatless recipes. On the other hand
it provides some interesting information about one of my hobbies: The cultivation of
carnivorous plants.
What is a carnivorous plant?Carnivorous plants are able to catch, "eat" and digest insects and other animals. This behaviour might be rather unlikely for a plant. However, it is neccessary to let them survive in their wild habitats, which all lack of food (especially nitrogen-combinations) in the ground. Carnivorous plants are the specialists for grounds that contain so few food that only moss or thin grass can survive on them.
